✨ My name is Alicia, but you can call me Lish! 

In August 2016, I started my favorite adventure of pursuing my childhood dream. Something that had once only been an escape from the horrible reality of depression, had slowly taken over my life and allowed me to live in a fantasy world where evil did not exist (or was easily controlled😂) and everyone was worthy of one simple thing in life - LOVE. 

You can easily see this change through my art. When I started sculpting, my name was “Miserable Moppets” and I mostly made sad dolls. Through the years, I worked on myself, grew and dedicated my life to Christ! It was not an easy journey, nor a perfect one, but it has lead me down a path I feel truly blessed to be on. 

As a child, I would always hear, “art is a hobby, not a job” and be instantly taken back to reality. However, the true artist in me could not be subdued and I began my grand adventure. It was the best time in my life to start, of course, having two young boys. And so far, this adventure has allowed me to stay home with them, filling their little lives with adventure and fairytales and hope - for their own dreams to one day come true!

Today, I am a sculptor, painter, writer and a lover. An escape from reality kind of woman. The one who can be there when you’ve had a hard day and say, “oh look, a squirrel”. And then shove a cute sculpture in your face and tell you how much I love you… over and over and over again. Just so you NEVER forget.

My inspiration comes from my faith in Jesus and a deep desire to spread joy to others. I absolutely love it when I hear that my sculptures and poetry touched someone to the core, or how much happiness it brought them. This is the very reason why I do what I do!

I believe life is an adventure and there is so much inspiration all around us. When we are firm in our faith and comfortable with being our truest selves, the world becomes a better place. I aim to offer a place for you to see yourself in the subjects I create; these bold, authentic and lovely creatures who are so eager to shine their light into this world, for YOU!

I am dedicated to celebrating the beauty Jesus has brought to my life, through vibrant works of mixed media art pieces, so we can embrace all the joys life has to offer, together.

Today, Lish continues creating art dolls in the comfort of her peaceful home in Indiana with her loving husband, Joel, and two young boys, Emmett and Jackson. She is so thankful for each and every friend who visits, enjoys or purchases a piece of art. 

Please know, any purchases made go directly to Lish’s family and not a large corporation’s pocket. Your love for her art, allows her to be home, raising her boys with love and compassion for all of humanity.
