Hello there friends! Long time no talk!

I haven’t had an update in a while, but I have been slowly working in the background for this one! During my last update, I was supposed to only take 2-3 custom orders, but I ended up with 5… which has lead to me being really burnt out on making art lately. I’ve been struggling through it, but definitely working much slower than I usually do.
A few months ago, when I was working much harder, I was more productive because I would very often stay up late through the night to get more work done - usually at least 3 nights a week. I would catch a couple hours of sleep and then get up in the morning to make lunch for my husband before work and get my kids up for school, then return right back to work once they were off. I have managed to work like this for many years… that way I can take many breaks during the day and evening to be with my family… but lately it’s been catching up to me… and I started suffering with migraines called “kaleidoscope headaches” and they are very awful.
The good news: I haven’t stayed up like this in a month and a half now and I’m pleased to announce that I haven’t been having anymore of those headaches, so they were definitely sleep related. Going forward, I will be more cautious of how much I allow my body to be sleep deprived and will definitely be prioritizing my own rest. Through this, I have noticed that my eyes have a very hard time looking at the screen for very long as well, which means I have to take more breaks when it comes to putting together my reels and on days where I have to do lots of work on my iPad.
I know, I will manage, but I thought I would be more transparent with everyone about why I’ve been more quiet lately than usual. After this update, my family will be going on vacation to Florida for a week, and I’m really looking forward to a real break, where I won’t have to think about sculpting or posting on social media. I know I will miss it and be ready to dive back into everything once I get back.
☀️ That being said, since I will be going on vacation, I bumped this update up by a day. So instead of Friday, the update is Thursday! All orders placed BY FRIDAY, will ship out before I leave.

- one more little note: for the last few updates, I have paid for an app that allows you to see a countdown for the product before the update time, both updates where I used the app, had issues. The first time, nothing appeared at the appropriate time and last time, someone was able to make a purchase before the time they were supposed to be able to, which jumped ahead of other customers. So to avoid further confusion, I have reverted back to the way I used to do updates, meaning:

One final announcement:
Going further, I will NOT be accepting any more custom orders. This is for many reasons: to combat future burnout, to free up time to work on my book, more artistic freedom, and just because sometimes they can be mentally draining and more overwhelming than making things I am called to make. It’s also difficult to keep a consistent schedule when I have to break my concentration to add in extra work. It’s unclear when or if I will decide to open customs again in the future, but nowhere in the coming months, definitely. Thank you so much for your understanding on this. It was really a difficult decision, as I thoroughly enjoy bringing your ideas to life!
