Hey there friends! I hope you’ve all been doing well. I’ve been ok over here, but I have had a few setbacks this week. If you were keeping up with my stories on instagram/facebook you may have noticed that I had not one but TWO sculpture failures this week.
The first one fell over when I went inside to cook some dinner for my family. Thankfully, the way it burned was a fairly easy fix - though still time consuming.
So there went the time it would have taken to make at least another sculpt. But that’s ok. She turned out AMAZING!!!
I’m trying to bring the characters to life more with props and things in their settings. Practicing now, in the hopes that I can publish some books in the future and use my sculptures for the images! What do you think?

So, after I finished fixing Fable…. I started working on her friend Suede.
To be honest, she very quickly became my favorite of the three. I just love how the shape of her body turned out and her cute little belly and I love her smile too and the fact that I added two mushrooms on top was such a fun challenge!
I took extra precautions this time because I didn’t’ want what happened to Fable happen to Suede….. I stayed up late through the night working
She was absolutely PERFECT!
I put her in the oven and went to bed. As I said… I definitely took extra precautions….
Unfortunately the precautions I took were just not enough because when I came to check on her the next morning, she was like this. Shattered.
Looking back, I do know what I can do for next time - as I think the issue was that my armature needed more strength since she was so top heavy. Either way, there was no fixing her. In order for her to live… she has to be completely remade.
This threw off my entire week. I actually had quite a bit more planned and was going to have some Chunkeez and also Gloomeez but I just didn’t have the time to get to them at all.

Here is some positive news:
Though I will only have 2 sculpts available this week…. My birthday is September 25 which is SO SOON and if you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I always host a giveaway for my birthday so this year will be the same. I have been planning this specific set of sculptures for months now and I really think you are all going to be so pleased with them!
- I also have something fun planned for all the “button-eers” which is the name I am dubbing for those who complain about the way I say button. Let’s just say, it will be packed full of buttons. Hehe silly me.
